# 10.🔥Unclaimed $NUTS : burn & use

At the date we are writing this, there is more than 2% of the supply not claimed from the launch (stored in munks gen 1). The coin being 1 year old now, people have had enough time to claim. We'll be announcing a final claim date, after which 40% of the $NUTS unclaimed will be burned, and the rest will be used for ecosystem development.
